Our guides are NOT movie Pirates. Younger kids under 7 probably won’t enjoy the tour. The French Quarter offers all variations of foul language, drunkenness and the occasional nudity. While we like that sort of stuff we keep it clean-ish on the tour. Some of the stories involve death, drinking, torture, gambling and wenching. When kids are on the tour we clean it up.

If you’re 21 you certainly can. It makes us funnier and better looking. If everyone on the tour agrees then we can certainly stop at a bar along the way. If you want to have a lot of drinks with a Pirate we suggest taking our Pub Crawl. We reserve the right to throw anyone off the tour for being disruptive to the other guests.

Way more than you expect. The Pirates in New Orleans in the early 1800s operated a little differently than most Pirates throughout history. This is a very well researched tour. You WILL be surprised at what you learn about Pirates and New Orleans.

While it is customary to tip guides, musicians and performers on the streets of New Orleans it is totally up to you. Keep in mind though you just spent 2 hours with a Pirate and they’ll remember what you look like and once the tour is done they don’t have much else to do so…Don’t think of it as a tip, think of it as an insurance policy.
